Lindsey Bayless
England and Wales Focus, AGĀ®
Lindsey has been an avid genealogist for 20 + years. Born and raised in England with a Welsh grandmother naturally guided Lindsey to focus her efforts in those two countries. Traveling to the British Isles frequently allows her to spend time in archives, graveyards (usually in the rain!) and libraries. A “home” base in London gives easy access to the British Library and the National Archives and Lindsey has conducted research in many county archives throughout England and Wales. She has been actively conducting client research in many counties, using online facilities as well as the resources of the Family History Library and onsite research. Lindsey is presently serving as the British Isles Regional Chair, ICAPGenSM Testing Committee. Eleven years of service at the Family History Library, specializing in U.K. research and assisting patrons has developed her ability to effectively communicate with and assist others in their family history endeavors.

Lindsey not only helped with my specific research problem, but also shared knowledge about customs of the time and location that will help all my research there. I will certainly contact her again!
